The rain washed the planet after a thousand years of an everlasting drought. I was the newest member of the squadron.
Around me were the best clone commandos and the first prototype.
The Jedi sent us to clean out a Geonosian factory. I was excited, but it was darker there and I was afraid.
My body was shaking from the tremendous amount of fear, but one of the men touched my shoulder and whispered, "Everything okay? Don't be afraid. We're together and I'll protect you."
That gave me an immense amount of inspiration, prompting me to continue.
Ahead of us was a gigantic door. "All clear!" one called out. "Throw a grenade!"
I went in first after the explosion and saw an extreme amount of Geonosian bugs. They were very, very angry and began to assault us. I began blasting like a maniac, hitting everything in my path, but it wasn't good enough.
I thought I was alone, but then I remembered my brothers. They were blasting in a similar fashion.
All of a sudden, the Geonosians began devouring them. It was such a horrible sight. It was a nightmare. They ate my brothers! I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Would I stay here and be eaten or put up a fight?
I decided to stay and fight. After making my decision, I realized that it was the wrong choice.
I glanced around me to see that I was the last one standing. I began to run as fast as my legs could carry me. As I ran, the lights on my helmet started to fail. Darkness overwhelmed me and blinded me. I reached into a compartment in my belt and pulled out a miniature lantern, walking cautiously through the factory.
I continued to search for the exit, but a noise gathered up my attention. I crept around a corner and witnessed the bugs using my brothers. They were putting them in their eggs! It was the most disgusting thing I'd ever seen. I couldn't believe my eyes and I felt sick to my stomach.
I knew that I had to do something, but what was I supposed to do? I didn't know what would help at this moment. I could only sit here and watch in horror as my brothers suffered.
I held my head in my hand and sighed. I whispered, "Stupid," a bit harshly. It was followed up with my determined words, "You are a commando!"
I knew what to do. I glanced up again and saw that my brothers the ones I thought to be dead were possessed by brain invaders. They had become zombies!
I pulled my blaster out and began to blast directly at their heads. Within moments, I was surrounded and my blaster was ripped from my hands. They took my blaster from me and I remembered that I'd stored a pocket knife in the back compartment of my belt. I swung my arm back and pulled it out, attempting to defend myself with it.
They were too strong for me.
They viciously grabbed me and removed my helmet. I was able to see them lift one of the worms up in the dim light. They placed it on the side of my face and it began to squirm around until it moved towards my mouth.
It entered and my immediate reaction was to bite down on it. That thought alone revolted me, but it was something I had to do. Survival mattered the most to me right now.
After I'd managed to kill the worm, the Geonosians began to torture me, biting me every now and then.
Geonosians and dead clones surrounded me.
I kicked the bugs off of me and pulled a grenade out of another compartment on my belt. I pulled the clip and threw it directly into the center of the group.
I blew the horrible creatures up along with myself and my brothers.
That's when I bolted into an upright position, my body sweating heavily as I breathed quickly. It had been a terrible nightmare
I received a call from the Commander of my squad. He called me in for a mission with some of the commandos. I told him that I'd understood and I got up.
Once I saw the men, I felt like my days were numbered in this war.
I just prayed and hoped beyond hope that no one ever has this same nightmare.
